Andrew J. Green

Andrew J. Green, 45, award winning author, investor, minister, father and grandfather (Tasty), was taken home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Thursday, May 19, 2011.

He suffered a tragic tree trimming accident at his lake home in Tyler, and died in the arms of his wife and soul mate of 23 years, Kristine Mary Green.

Andrew was born and raised in New York Mills, New York. He graduated New York Mills High Class of ’84, served in the U. S. armed forces, and went to attend Herkimer Community College, and The Berean University for biblical studies.

He had retired at 38, and moved to Texas to be close to his grandchildren. Andy will be remembered to those who knew him best by his energetic, inquisitive, and ceaseless personality, his boundless conversations, his perpetual joking, and his love of hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors.

He will never be forgotten by those he touched through his years of ministering, and by all those he encountered with his ability to strike up a conversation with any complete stranger, and walk away as a friend.

He was survived by his wife Krisi, his two children Joseph Green and Angela Armstrong, his beloved grandchildren Aidon, Kaidance, and Justin Armstrong, his mother Irene Green, his older brother Robert Green, his sisters Joanie Cardin, Karen Lim, Mary Rupert, and Diane Reilly, many nieces and nephews, and a lifetime of close friends.
