Austin had a gift for making people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. He was never happier than when he was surrounded by friends, sharing laughs and creating memories. His smile could light up any room he walked into. Austin had a way of stepping into other people’s struggles as if they were his own; he would work tirelessly until he found a way to help make things right. His compassion wasn’t a trait he turned on and off; it was simply who he was.

His faith was a steady part of his life and he poured that same heart into being part of a DFW men’s group and Bible study that became a place of connection and encouragement for others. Among his favorite roles was being the “funcle” to his nieces and nephews, a title he wore proudly and lived up to with every joke, adventure and moment of joy he shared with them.

Austin was preceded in death by his grandfather  C.R. “Tex” Rackley, and his sister Stephanie Rackley.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents; brother Cody Rackley and wife Devon, of Hawaii; Brandon Kula and wife Molly, of Massachusetts; Wade Rackley and fiancée Emily of Frankston; grandparents, Roy and Judy Starr of Frankston; grandmother Carol Rackley; and eight nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Kula, Wade Rackley, Jake Russell, Cole Phillips, Jase Harris and Josh Morris.
