Jnetta Folmar

Funeral services for Jnetta Folmar, 89, of Frankston were held a 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, in the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston, with Rev. George Folmar and Rev. J.A. Griffin officiating.

Mrs. Folmar died Thursday, Dec. 28, in a Frankston nursing home.

She was born Dec. 26, 1911 in Henderson County.

Mrs. Folmar was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Frankston.

Survivors include two daughters, Jenny Jones and Frances Harley, both of Frankston; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were grandsons and grandsons-in-law.

Erma Lea Isbell

Funeral services for Erma Lea Isbell, 67, of Frankston were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, at Renfro Memorial Chapel of Boren Conner Funeral Home in Jacksonville with Bro. Jerry Stanger officiating.

Burial was in Garden Oaks Cemetery in Berryville under direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home.

Mrs. Isbell died Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 19, in a Tyler hospice.

She was born Dec. 30, 1932 in Redding, Calif. She was formerly of Dallas and lived in the Frankston area for 14 years.

She was of the Baptist faith and was a housewife.

Mrs. Isbell was a lifetime DAV member and a member of VFW, Frankston. She participated in many charities.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Howard Isbell and brother, Vernon Officer Sr.

Survivors include a son, Donald Robert Isbell, Frankston; two daughters, Rickie Marlene Williams, Dallas and Charlotte Rose Rowland, Cedar Hill; two brothers, Upton D. Officer, Houston and Lyn R. Officer, Caldosta, Ga.; seven grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Patrick Rowland, James Tusing, Robert Isbell, Robbie Hughes, Joyce Ann Rutledge and Jason Tusing.

Mahdeen "Bussey" Crow

Graveside services for Mahdeen "Bussey" Crow, 85, of Frankston were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, at Liberty Hill Cemetery, Frankston, with the Rev. J.A. Griffin officiating, under direction of Thompson Funeral Home, Frankston.

Mrs. Crow died Sunday, Dec. 24, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 11, 1915 in Frankston.

Mrs. Crow retired as a clerk with Woolworth's Department Store in Houston, and was also a nurse's aide at Frankston Health Care Center.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Frankston.

Survivors include sons, William Clifton Crow, Frankston, and Charles Hagen Smith, Fort Worth; daughter, Frances Delaine Dickerson, Frankston; sister, Nellie Ray Martin, Frankston; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Betty Jo Shepherd

Funeral services for Betty Jo Shepherd of Frankston were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston with Rev. James Farmer and Donna Douglas officiating.

Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Shreveport, La. at 3:30 p.m.

Mrs. Shepherd was born Jan. 11, 1938 in Coushatta, La.

She died Monday, Dec. 25, in Tyler.

Mrs. Shepherd was a member of Order of the Eastern Star No. 177 in Athens and attended the Lake Area Metro Church in Frankston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter E. Brown and Pauline Humphrey Brown, both of Haughton, La.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Paul Shepherd, and a son, Jon Paul Shepherd, both of Frankston.

Pallbearers were Benny Douglas, Max Beard Jr., Dana Bizzell, Mark Wagley, Ryan Bizzell and Larry Lockwood. Honorary pallbearer was Howard Coleman.

Homer Meador

LARUE - Graveside services for Homer Meador, 69, of LaRue, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at Willow Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Terry Adair officiating, under direction of Foster & Brown Funeral Home, Athens.

Mr. Meador died Tuesday, Dec. 26.

He was born Aug. 25, 1931 in Henderson County to the late Charlie Wade Meador and Ida Baker.

Mr. Meador was a retired oilfield consultant and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Lewis, and a brother, Wade Meador.

Survivors include his wife, Nell Meador, LaRue; daughters, Susan Dickerson and Cindy Moore, both of LaRue; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Irene M. Traylor

Graveside services for Irene M. Traylor, 85, of Frankston were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, at Garden Oaks Memorial Park, Berryville, with President Evan Neilson, an elder with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, officiating. Arrangements were by Thompson Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Mrs. Traylor died Saturday, Dec. 24, in Jacksonville.

She was born Jan 1, 1915, in Rusk County and lived in the Frankston area for 29 years.

Mrs. Traylor was a former bookkeeper for Sine Simmer Insurance Company, and was a Methodist.

Survivors include her husband, Herman Traylor, Frankston; brother-in-law, James Royce Traylor and wife Jean, Texas City; sister, Shirley Mills and husband Dury, Conroe; two nephews, Tray Mills and Glenn Morris; and three nieces, Donna Webster, Linda Strickland and Sissy Neal.

Roy Bruce

Funeral services for Roy Bruce, 45, of Frankston were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, Jacksonville, with the Rev. Don Harvey officiating.

Burial was in Earle's Chapel Cemetery near Jacksonville.

Mr. Bruce died Sunday, Dec. 24, in a Tyler hospital.

He was born April 19, 1955, in Jacksonville. He served in the Navy from 1971 to 1978, was a carpenter/foreman and a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Bruce, Frankston; daughters, Mandy Harkey and Shanna Lee Bruce, both of Broken Bow, Okla., Cheri Kirtley, Jacksonville, and Brittany Leigh Bruce, Frankston; brothers, Ed Bruce, Robert Bruce and Jack Bruce, all of Jacksonville, and Steve Bruce, Bullard; sisters, Ruby Russo, Austin, Janie Martin, Palestine, Peggy Little, Gilmer, and Marie Alford, Longview; two grandchildren; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Ed Bruce, Robert Bruce, Jack Bruce, Rocky Bruce, Ray Alford and Mike Jones.

Rosa Mae Hulsey

Funeral services for Rosa Mae Hulsey, 92, of Tyler were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, at the Bascom Assembly of God Church in Tyler, with Rev. Eugene Hulsey, Rev. A.J. Lewis, Rev. Travis Freeman and Rev. Leslie Bartley officiating.

Burial was in Bascom Cemetery under direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tyler.

Mrs. Hulsey died Sunday, Dec. 31, in a hospice home in Tyler.

She was born May 7, 1908 in Talladega, Ala. She had lived in Smith County since 1937.

Mrs. Hulsey was a charter member of Bascom Assembly of God and was employed 28 years at Western Foundry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Freeman Hulsey.

Survivors include sons, William Eugene Hulsey, Earl Weldon Hulsey, Charles H. Hulsey and Glen O. Hulsey, all of Tyler, and Olen Ray Hulsey of Forney; daughters, Charlene Robison of Frankston, Frances Bartley of West New York, NJ and Glenda Tate of Tyler; a sister, Irene Jackson of Athens; 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were William E. Hulsey Jr., Greg Robison, Wayne Hulsey, John David Bartley, Jerry Tate, Terry Tate and Trey Tate.

Honorary pallbearers were nephews and friends of Bascom Assembly of God Church, Bill Allen, Frank Williams, Jon Hopkins, Bob Baker, Leland Holick and Dale Reel.

Peter Randal Dahl

Graveside services for Peter Randal Dahl, 53, of Frankston were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Frankston.

Arrangements were under direction of Thompson Funeral Home, Frankston.

Mr. Dahl died Wednesday, Dec. 27, at his residence.

He was born Oct. 6, 1947, at Devil's Lake, N.D. He was a Baptist and a carpenter and roofer. He served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Dahl, Frankston; sons, Michael Benton, Sean Lee Benton, Jeramy Dahl and Jeffrey Dahl, all of Frankston; brother, Morris Dahl Jr., Rifle, Colo.; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Lena Dunn

LARUE - Funeral services for Lena Rebecca Dunn, 81, of LaRue, were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, at LaRue United Methodist Church with the Rev. Edwin McDaniel and Rev. Matt Thomas officiating.

Burial was in LaRue Cemetery under direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens.

Mrs. Dunn died Monday, Jan. 8, in an Athens hospital.

She was born April 11, 1919, in Elkhart to the late Bennie and Luavina Parnell Clark.

Mrs. Dunn had resided in LaRue since 1956 and was a member of LaRue United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Bennie L. Clark, J.B. Clark; son-in-law, Foy L. Stogner; and great-great-grandson, Kollen Edwin Bowman.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Leon and Patsy Dunn, Athens, Rev. Larry and Antoinette Dunn, Brownsboro; a daughter, Yvonne Stogner, Athens; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandsons and a nephew, James Clark, Frankston.

Pallbearers were David Haws, Dennis Haws, James Larry Dunn, Ronnie Dunn, Foy A. Stogner and Gary Dunn.

Honorary pallbearers were Alex Caddell, Edwin and Kevin Bowman.

Larry Joe "Wine" McDonald

Funeral services for Larry Joe "Wine" McDonald, 57, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, in the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston with the Revs. J.A. Griffin and John Herbert Cole officiating.

Burial was in the Frankston City Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home.

Mr. McDonald died Friday, Jan. 5.

He was born Dec. 17, 1943 in Frankston, son of Joe Oliver McDonald and Fayrene Weesner McDonald.

Mr. McDonald was a pipeline inspector and affiliated with the United Methodist Church of Frankston. He was a Mason and a member of the National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Oliver McDonald.

Survivors include his wife, Pam McDonald of Frankston; sons and daughter-in-law, Joel McDonald of Galveston, Grant and Tara McDonald; a daughter, Jill McDonald of Conroe; a brother, Roger McDonald of Frankston; his mother, Fayrene Weesner McDonald of Frankston; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and numerous friends.

Pallbearers were Bobby Robertson, Philip Welch, John Dunklin, Charles Rhodes, Joe Dale Dickerson, Tony Campbell, Bill Harden and Jimmy Westbrook.

Honorary pallbearer was Alan Robertson.

Joyce Faye Hughey

Funeral services for Joyce Faye Hughey, 54, of Lake Palestine were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8, at the Lakeside Baptist Church with Rev. Wendell Johnson officiating.

Burial was at 3 p.m. in Bluebonnett Hills Cemetery, Colleyville, TX, with arrangements by Thompson Funeral Home in Frankston.

Mrs. Hughey died Thursday, Jan. 4, at her residence.

She was born Feb. 1, 1946 in Gladewater.

Mrs. Hughey was an employee of Ambienti America, Inc. and was affiliated with Lakeside Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Larry Hughey Jr. of Lake Palestine; her mother, Mary Warren of Nacogdoches; a brother, Kenneth Warren of Fort Worth; sisters, Donna Wilson and Kathy Davis of Euless; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Bobby Carr, Bobby Warren, Charlie Fusion and Brandon Hall.

Julian Putnam

Funeral services for Julian Putnam, 89, of Frankston, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan 10, at Thompson Funeral Home chapel, Frankston, with the Rev. Bob Waldman officiating.

Burial was in Garden Oaks Memorial Park in Berryville.

Mr. Putnam died Sunday, Jan. 7, in Houston.

He was born Oct. 19, 1911, in Pittsburg, had lived in El Paso, was a member of United Methodist Church, Frankston, and a retired employee of Southern Pacific Railroad with 30 years service.

Survivors include his wife, Rubye A. Putnam, Frankston; sons, James Lee Putnam, Nashville, Tenn., and Gene Putnam, Houston; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

H.H. "Hank" Pagitt

Funeral services for H.H. "Hank" Pagitt, 80, of Humble, formerly of Poynor, were held at 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, in the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston, with Rev. Jeff Godwin officiating.

Burial was in the Poynor Cemetery under direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Frankston.

Mr. Pagitt died Friday, Jan. 5, in Humble.

He was born Oct. 3, 1920 in Poynor.

Mr. Pagitt was a retired pipefitter and welder for local 370 in Flint, Mich. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the 7th Calvary and received the Bronze Star.

Mr. Pagitt was preceded in death by his former wife, Madeline Pagitt; two brothers, Joe Tom Pagitt and James Buford Pagitt; one sister, Carmen Redding; two grandsons, J.D. Heidema and Danny Padilla; and a cousin, Charlie Pagitt.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Pagitt of Humble; a son, Rick Pagitt of Billings, Mont.; daughters, Dolly Hatch of Humble, Polly Dickinsen, Billings, Mont., Wanda Yoder of LaCresenta, Calif. and Barbara Taylor of Piedmont, Calif.; step-daughter, Cindy Scott of Billings, Mont.; sisters, Betty Townley of LaFayette, La., Kathryn LaBoid of Bryan and Doris Perry of Temple; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Nick Brigham, Keith Bristow, John Pagitt, A.B. Roberts, Gary Townley and Jimmy Pagitt.

Honorary pallbearers were Rick Pagitt, Ken Hatch and Sean Hatch.

Mrs. Eula Jones Reagan

JACKSONVILLE- Funeral services for Mrs. Eula Jones Reagan, 79, of Jacksonville were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, at Renfro Memorial Chapel with Rev. Don Harvey officiating.

Burial was in Jarrett Cemetery under direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home of Jacksonville.

Mrs. Reagan died Friday evening, Jan. 5, in a Jacksonville hospital.

She was born Dec. 2, 1921 in Childress Co., Texas. She had lived in the Jacksonville area for 45 years.

Mrs. Reagan was a member of the Cove Springs Baptist Church and was a housewife.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Gattis; two sisters, Bessie Evans and Ethel Scott; and a brother, Willie (Buster) Jones.

Survivors include her husband, R.L. Reagan of Jacksonville; three sons, Rodger Reagan of Springtown, Donald K. Reagan of Jacksonville and Tracy Lee Reagan of Frankston; two daughters, Doris Rogers of Sherman, Wilma McDaniel and Judy Burton, both of Jacksonville; one brother, Jack C. Jones of Colonial Heights, Va.; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Travis Darrell Lambert

Funeral services for Travis Darrell Lambert, 19, of Bristow, Okla. were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at the Advent Christian Church in Bristow with Rev. Chester Brown officiating.

Burial was in First Mission Free Will Baptist Campground Cemetery near Mannford, Okla. under direction of Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home in Bristow.

Mr. Lambert was born Dec. 12, 1981 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Burch D. and Darlene Owna Tabor Lambert.

He died Sunday, Dec. 31.

He attended Terlton, Victory Christian and Bristow Schools. He had been a resident of the Bristow area for the past five years. He worked as a caregiver for Gatesway Home Health Care.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lambert, and maternal grandparents, Ervin and Owna Mae Tabor.

He is survived by his wife, Brandy, of Bristow, Okla.; a daughter, Allison Janette Lambert of Bristow; a brother, A.J. Parks and his wife Jeanne of Bristow; a special nephew, Dillion Parks of Bristow; paternal grandmother, Pearl Lambert of Tulsa, Okla.; mother and father-in-law, Cheryl and Jimmy Wayne Keene of Texas; brother-in-law, Chad Keene of Texas; and other relatives and a host of friends.

Anna Fay Petty

ALTO - Funeral services for Anna Fay Petty, 85, of the Forest Community near Alto were held Saturday, Jan. 6, at 2 p.m. in the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bobby King officiating. Burial was in the Arnold Cemetery near Forest.

Mrs. Petty died Wednesday, Jan. 3.

She was born March 13, 1915 in Wellington to Marshall P. and Jessie Belle Earp Shackelford.

Mrs. Petty was a homemaker and lived for many years in Forest and also lived in Livingston.

She was a member of the Forest Baptist Church and had worked as a waitress and in the Wells School Cafeteria.

Mrs. Petty was preceded in death by husbands, Vernon Lee Williamson and I.W. Petty; son, Jimmy Lee Williamson; brothers, Arleigh M. Shackelford and Sammy Dale Shackelford; and sister, Jane Marie Baker.

Survivors include a daughter, Jessie Elayne Bates, Lufkin; a son, Emory Eugene Williamson, Forest; brothers, Lesta Shackelford and wife Betty, Tucson, Ariz., and David Shackelford and wife Carol of Helena, Mont.; sisters, Bonnie Crawford, Coushatta, La., Johnnie L. Lovett, Natchitoches, La., Imogene Landolt, Louisville, Ken., Lara Harrison, Nederland and Delilah Fraylick and husband Jim, Helena, Mont.; eight grandchildren, David, Jimmy, Dwayne, Daniel, Donna Lea, J. Chris, Leshia and Regina; 21 great-grandchildren.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Mable Weesner Bacon

Funeral services for Mable Weesner Bacon, 84, of Frankston were held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, at Frankston Assembly of God.

Burial was in the Bacon Family Cemetery under direction of Thompson Funeral Home, Frankston.

Mrs. Bacon died Friday, Jan 12.

She was born Dec. 22, 1916, in Frankston to the late Douglas and Pearl Weesner.

Mrs. Bacon taught elementary school in Frankston, Clute, Poynor and Plains and taught art at various community colleges.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Plains Dirt Gardeners and Plains Fine Arts Club.

Mrs. Bacon was preceded in death by her husband, A.H. Bacon.

Survivors include one son, Terry Bayne Bacon and his wife, Billie of Frankston; one daughter, May Jean Hughes of Houston; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Weesner of Frankston and T.J. Weesner of Dallas; one sister, Elizabeth Sinks of Plano; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were David Hughes, Jay Otto, David Hays, Bo McKinney, Britt Bacon and Dude Bacon.

Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Reed and Bayne Bacon.

Charles Ezell

Graveside services for Charles Ezell, 70, of Frankston were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, at Poynor Cemetery, with Rev. J.A. Griffin officiating.

Burial was under direction of Thompson Funeral Home, Frankston.

Mr. Ezell died Saturday, Jan. 13, in a Tyler hospital.

He was born Oct. 19, 1930 in Amarillo.

Mr. Ezell was the owner of a pesticide company and a member of American Legion Post No. 0012. He served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Andrea Ezell of Victoria, one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Bob Bash of Titusville, Fla.; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Helen Genola

LARUE -Funeral services for Helen Elizabeth Genola, 61, of LaRue, were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at Foster & Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Athens, with the Rev. Richard Palmer officiating.

Mrs. Genola died Thursday, Jan. 11, in Tyler.

She was born April 7, 1939, in Yazoo City, Miss., to Ephrem and Ida Baker.

Survivors include her husband, James Genola, LaRue; daughter, Regina Manson, Arlington; son, James Nicholson, St. Joseph, La.; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to National Kidney Foundation.

Vera Cornett

Funeral services for Vera Cornett, 76, formerly of Frankston, were held Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Houston National Cemetery at 12:15 p.m.

Mrs. Cornett died Saturday, Jan. 6, in a Palestine nursing home.

Survivors are sisters, Clara Brown of Neches, Cassie Brown of Palestine, Jewel McGaha of Jacksonville; a nephew, Kennieth Brown of Neches and a niece, Vestoria Brown of Houston.

Lelia Lester Salmon

Funeral services for Lelia Lester Salmon, 93, of Frankston, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, in Collierville Funeral Home, Collierville, TN.

Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery in Collierville.

She died Wednesday, Jan. 10, in a Tyler hospital.

She was born and lived in Marshall County, Miss. She had lived with her daughter in Frankston for the past one and one-half years.

Mrs. Salmon was a dairy farmer and homemaker, a member of New Salem Methodist Church, Marshall County, and Methodist Women's Guild.

She was preceded in death by husband of 71 plus years, Buford G. Salmon, and a son, Jasper Salmon.

Survivors include daughters, Blanche Kinney, Collierville, Tenn., Evelyn Shackelford, Germantown, Tenn., Shirley Baswell, Nashville, Tenn. and Loretta Robertson, Frankston; a son, Lowell Salmon, Rossville, Tenn.; sisters, Pauline Nolen, Bellaire; Jessie Lester, Memphis, Tenn.; and a brother, Eugene Lester, Memphis, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Ella Mae Graves

Graveside services for Ella Mae Graves, 94, of Jacksonville were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15, in the Land of Memory Cemetery in Palestine with the Rev. David Hallum officiating.

The services were under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Mrs. Graves died Saturday, Jan. 13, in a Jacksonville hospital.

She was born April 28, 1906 in Bullard. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Marshall of Jacksonville, Nita Jo and Don Moore of Conroe, and Yvonne Van Deman of DeSoto; grandchildren, Jane Koch, Mike Dennis, Tom McCollum, Mark McCollum, Chris McCollum, Judy Baker, Missy Lawson, Le´Ann Koltz, Jay Moore, and Ronnie Van Deman; 20 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Grace Simpson Law

Funeral services for Grace Simpson Law, 92, of Frankston were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, at the United Methodist Church in Frankston with Rev. Kevin King and Rev. Louie Barron officiating.

Burial was in Frankston City Cemetery under direction of Thompson Funeral Home, Frankston.

Mrs. Law died Saturday, Jan. 20 in Palestine.

She was born Nov. 11, 1908 and was married to J.B. Law in 1929. They had three children. J.B., Patricia and Buddy.

Mrs. Law earned her teaching degree from Louisiana State Normal, Nachitoches, LA and her Masters of Education degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches.

She taught school for over 30 years, retiring from the Frankston Public School System in 1973.

Mrs. Law was an active member of United Methodist Church, Story Telling League, Garden Club and Delta Kappa Gamma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Law, and a son, Buddy.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, J.B. and Diane Law, Palestine; a daughter, Pat Sweeney, Chandler; grandsons, Alec Law and wife, Julie, Palestine, Frank Sweeney and wife, Doreen, Frankston, J.B. Sweeney, Dallas; granddaughters, Leah Law, Linda McKenzie and husband, Bob, of Houston, Evie House of Chandler, Patti Fenner and husband, Billy, of Chandler, Cathy Carver and husband, Paul, of Chandler; 15 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons and great-grandsons.

Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church of Frankston.

Harold L. Andrews

Memorial services for Harold L. Andrews, 45, of Frankston were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston with Pastor David Barber officiating.

Mr. Andrews died on Tuesday, Jan. 16.

He was born Oct. 17, 1955 in Pasadena. He was a Baptist and worked for Wal Mart as a truck driver.

Mr. Andrews was in the U.S. Marines for four years. He was at the American Embassy in Geneva, Switzerland for one year and had Embassy duty in Khartoum, Sudan for one year.

Survivors include his wife, Dena Andrews of Frankston; his mother Ella Andrews of Huntsville; a son, Michael Andrews of Elkhart; a step son, Stephen Brian Seeton of Grand Saline; a daughter, Danielle Andrews of Frankston; a sister and husband, Jerri and Eddie Harmon of Lewisville; grandchildren, Case Main and Sheridan Danielle Andrews of Elkhart, Brandon Seeton and Justin Seeton of Grand Saline; and a niece, Tracy Nabors of Huntsville.

Winnie Tillman

LARUE - Funeral services for Winnie Tillman, 94, of LaRue were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, at New York Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Mills officiating.

Burial was in New York Cemetery under direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.

Mrs. Tillman died Friday, Jan. 19, in an Athens nursing home.

She was born Jan. 12, 1907 and was a lifelong resident of the New York community.

Mrs. Tillman was a member of New York Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Crawford Tillman in 1976.

Survivors include sons, Tony Tillman, LaRue, and Dwight Tillman, Duncanville; daughters, Anna Belle Tillman, LaRue, Doris M. Roden Garland, Barbara E. Stokley, Nacogdoches, Martha Sue Newsome, Mesquite, and Glenda Faye Penney, Rockwall; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were David Penney, Keith Tillman, Jeff Tillman, Ronnie Myers, Kevin Newsome, Rickey Patman, Shawn Stokley and Terry Stokley.

Donna Autrey

POYNOR - Funeral services for Donna Lee Autrey, 70, of Poynor, were held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, at Thompson Funeral Home chapel, Frankston, with Steve Handley officiating.

Burial was in Poynor Cemetery.

Mrs. Autrey died Thursday, Jan. 18, in Tyler.

She was born Aug. 18, 1930, in Columbus, Mont. and lived in Poynor for 25 years.

Mrs. Autrey was an apartment manager and member of LaPoynor Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Melvin G. Autrey and Norman Boyd, and brother, Bob Blechschmidt.

Survivors include a son, Joe Eddy Boyd, Coppell; one daughter and son-in-law, Pamalee and Joel Gideon, Poynor; one sister and brother-in-law, Billie and Leroy Edeburn, Brooklyn Center, Minn.; and four grandchildren, Calyn Boyd, Cristyn Boyd, David Wayne Gideon and Jeffery Allan McGlathery.

Hazel Walker

JACKSONVILLE - Funeral services for Hazel Walker, 91, of Jacksonville, formerly of Frankston, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Danny Henderson officiating.

Burial was in Old Bethel Cemetery near Frankston.

Mrs. Walker died Saturday, Jan. 20, in a Jacksonville hospital.

She was born March 31, 1909 in New Orleans, La. and had lived in Jacksonville since 1965. She had formerly lived in Frankston.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Walker; two daughters and one son.

Survivors include sons, James Walker, Dale Walker, Larry Walker and Ronald Walker, all of Jacksonville, John Walker of LaPorte; daughters, Juanice Bostick of Rusk, Nadia Massey and Elizabeth Tate, both of Jacksonville, Valda Stewart of Kilgore, Jackie Dawson of Reklaw, and Gale Smith of Winnsboro; sisters, Jean Rogers, Bet Hughes and Pat House, all of Frankston; 26 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Silas Green

Funeral services for Silas Green, 85, of Dallas, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at Macedonia Baptist Church, Hemphill, with the Rev. James Jenkins officiating.

Burial was in Macedonia Cemetery under direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co., Tyler.

Mr. Green died Sunday, Jan. 14, in Dallas.

He was born June 16, 1915, in Hemphill and attended Thomas Johnson Schools.

Mr. Green was a laborer and was preceded in death by parents, a son, sisters, and one brother.

Survivors include a son, Jeffery Rainey, Frankston; sister, Alice Winn, Hemphill; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Oscar Jones, Randall Giles, Terry David, Jo Bell, Marcus Allen and Oscar Rainey.

Honorary pallbearers were Willie Jenkins, Lonzo Rainey, Donny Anthony and Keithron Bell.

Daryl R. Dickerson

BONHAM - Graveside services for Daryl R. Dickerson were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, at Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham.

Mr. Dickerson died Tuesday, Jan.. 16.

He was born in Frankston and resided in the VA Nursing Center in Bonham.

He is survived by his niece, Sue Anna Leavy and grandniece, Ashleigh Paige Leavy of Euless.

Eula A. Boles

Funeral services for Eula A. Boles, 93, of Baytown, formerly of Frankston, were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel in Baytown with the Rev. Jay Wash officiating.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at Frankston City Cemetery under direction of Thompson Funeral Home, Frankston.

Mrs. Boles died Monday, Jan. 22.

She lived in Frankston before moving to Baytown more than 30 years ago and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

Mrs. Boles was preceded in death by her husband, Carrol Boles; a son, James C. Boles; and brothers, Augier Curley, Dois Curley and J.B. Curley.

Survivors include sisters, Thelma Turner and Essie Long, both of Baytown, and Lottie Gordon, Houston; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be J.B. Curley, Allan Hutton, Jim Alexander, Donny O'Sullivan, Brent Goodwin and Roy Carty.
