Emma Beddingfield
Emma Ruth Davidson Beddingfield of Tyler passed away on Dec. 25, 2008.
She was born April 26, 1919 in Kurten, Texas to Richard Lowery and Josephine Emily (Murray) Davidson.
A former resident of Duncanville for 45 years, she was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Duncanville.
Her husband of 52 years, James Delton Beddingfield, Sr., preceded her in death in 1992.
Survivors include her sons, James Delton Beddingfield, Jr. and wife Ann, Ron Beddingfield and wife Julie and Don Beddingfield and wife Jayne, all of Frankston; grandchildren, Ray Beddingfield and wife Suzanne of Forney, Texas, Casey Beddingfield and wife Mandy of Kilgore, Travis Beddingfield and wife Shannon of Ennis, and Brenna and husband Wesley Sarratt of Argyle, Texas; great grandchildren, Brady Beddingfield, Claire Marie Beddingfield, Dawson Sarratt and Addison Sarratt.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at the First Baptist Church of Duncanville.
Interment followed at Little Bethel Cemetery in Duncanville.
Polly Huff
Funeral services for Mrs. Polly Huff, 86, of Palestine, were held Friday, Jan. 9, 2009 at Poynor Cemetery in Poynor with the Rev. Jeff Godwin officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Frankston.
Mrs. Huff passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009 in Tyler.
She was born May 26, 1922 in Como, Texas.
Mrs. Huff was retired from the banking industry and was a member of the Poynor Baptist Church in Poynor.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Humphrey; mother, Nora Noble Humphrey; grandson, Charles Boney; granddaughter, Kimery Welton; three brothers, Ray Humphrey Gene Humphrey and Shelby Humphrey and one sister, Sibyl Britton.
Mrs. Huff is survived by her sons, Raymond Welton and wife Ann of Fort Worth and Paul Killam and wife Judy of Poynor; daughters, Barbara Boney and husband Chuck of Palestine and Jackie Sharp and husband Tommy of Poynor; brother, G.L. Humphrey of Richardson; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Mary Ann Hamon
Mary Ann Hamon, 83, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009 in an Abilene hospital.
Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 6, in Lawn Church of Christ with Mike Hardaway and Roy Meyer officiating.
Burial was in Counts Cemetery, directed by Fry-Bartlett Funeral Home in Tuscola.
Mary Ann was born April 17, 1925, to William George and Ethyl Elizabeth Milner Montrose in Fosterville, Texas.
She married Herman Eugene Hamon on Jan. 22, 1951, in Texas City.
The couple moved to Goldsboro in 1951.
She worked in the Goldsboro post office for 46 years, 29 of those years as postmistress, retiring in April of 2005.
She was active in the PTA at Lawn Elementary School and the Honey Bees of Lawn.
She was a member of the Lawn Church of Christ for more than 50 years.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Herman “Doodle†Hamon; a sister, Nell Sargent; on grandson and one great granddaughter.
Survivors include a son, Richard “Dickie†Hill of Cisco; one daughter, Shirley Geraldon of Goldsboro; three sisters, Ruby Costlow of Goldsboro, Jane Gibson of Nacogdoches and Margaret Riggins of Marshall; five brothers, Billy Montrose of Borger, Jimmy Montrose of Abilene, Bob Montrose and Wayne Montrose, both of Poynor and Charles Montrose of Frankston; seven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; several other relatives and many friends.
Bill Taylor
Graveside services for Bill Taylor, 78, of Frankston were held Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009 at the Taylor Family Cemetery.
Services were under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Frankston.
Mr. Taylor passed away Saturday, Jan. 11, 2009 at his residence.
He was born Nov. 15, 1930.
He was a retired IRS agent and member of the Baptist church.
Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his wife Ernestine Taylor.
Survivors include his son, Dan Taylor of Frankston and daughter, Mary Ann Setliff of Jacksonville, 10 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
Dilaphean Joyce Neeley
Dilaphean Joyce Neeley passed away on Dec. 30, 2008.
She was born March 30, 1930 in Heavener, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Neeley had been a resident of Berryville for 20 years.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Seaman Neeley; daughter, Sharon Wheetley and husband Lanier of Arlington; son, Mike Neeley and wife Lily of Arlington; sister, Marie Yates of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Robby Harbuck and wife Connie of Poynor, Jeff Harbuck and wife Melinda of Frost, Amber Dixon of Frankston, Jeremy Neeley and wife Nora of Fort Worth and Cody Neeley of Irving; eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 5, at the DFW National Cemetery.
Joseph Workman
Joseph Workman, 50, of Frankston died Friday, Dec. 26 in a Tyler hospital.
A memorial service was held Jan. 3, at the Lake Palestine spillway.
Mr. Workman worked as a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Lott; daughters, Jodi Young of Athens, Jennifer Keene and husband Chad of LaRue and Jessica Lott of Decatur, Ill.; mother, Teresa Workman of Springfield Ill.; four grandchildren and seven sisters.
Jessie Mann
Funeral services for Jessie Mae Mann, 67, of Frankston, were held Sunday, Feb. 25, 2009 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston with the Rev. George Folmar and the Rev. Doug Howell officiating.
Burial followed at Garden Oaks Memorial Park in Berryville.
Mrs. Mann passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009 in Tyler.
She was born Nov. 1, 1941 in Dallas to Jessie James and Elga Mae Chapman James.
Mrs. Mann was a member of First Baptist Church of Frankston and was a personnel manager at Texas Department of Corrections.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie James and Elga Mae Huntsman and her pastor, Shane Morgan.
Survivors include her husband, Al Mann of Frankston; daughter, Julie Boles Towles of Frankston; son, Ricky Allen of Ft. Worth; brother, Troy James of Oklahoma; grandchildren Lauren Boles of Frankston, Dustin Boles of Alabama and Shaun Allen of Frankston; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Darryl Dollarhide, Tommy Barr, Greg Taylor, John McDaniel, Charles Bristow and Herbert Riley.
Honorary pallbearer was James Gouger.
Frances Cathey Rutherford
Funeral services for Frances Cathey Rutherford, 88, of Frankston were held Thursday, Jan. 22, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston with the Rev. Doug Howell officiating.
Burial followed at Frankston City Cemetery.
Mrs. Rutherford passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009 in Frankston.
She was born April 19, 1920 to Turner E. Campe and Annie Mae Kilgo Campe.
Mrs. Rutherford was a member of United Methodist Church of Frankston and was a retired LVN.
She is preceded in death by her husband of more than 30 years, R.B. Cathey and son, Douglas Eugene Blaser.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy Rutherford of Frankston; son, Michael Charles Blaser, Sr. and wife Jackie of Frankston; and two grandchildren, Codie Leigh Blaser and Michael Charles Blaser, Jr.
Pallbearers were Michael Charles Blaser, Sr., Michael Charles Blaser, Jr., Justin Kyle Stinson and Bill Eugene Scenters.
Mildred Marble
Services for Mildred Marble, 88, of Frankston were held Tuesday, Jan. 27, at First Baptist Church Gresham with the Revs. Roy Thoene and David May officiating.
Burial followed in the Restland Cemetery in Dallas under the direction of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors of Tyler.
Mrs. Marble passed away Jan. 23, 2009.
She was born May 30, 1920 in New Madrid County Missouri near the New Madrid Fault where the course of the Mississippi River was changed in 1812.
She grew up in South East Missouri near Sikeston and attended schools there. She married John Marble in 1949 and they made their home in Dallas before moving near Frankston in 1972.
She and her husband developed a camping area on Lake Palestine they named M & M Campground.
She sold her business and retired in 1994.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gresham. In retirement she enjoyed church volunteer work and traveling.
She is preceded in death by parents, James and Violet Rhodes Lomax; husband, John H. Marble; brothers, Howard and James Verlon; and sisters, Clodine and Imogene.
Survivors include her daughter, Paula Smith; son, Wayne Marble and wife Mary Helen; sisters, Pat and brother-in-law Jerry White, and Janet Jackson; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Brooks Atwood, Harold Arnold, Todd Thoene, Roger Boggs, Nathan Parker and Hubert Sherrill.
Honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren, Johnny Smith, Leslie Smith, James Marble and Noah Marble.

Dorothy Cole
Services for Dorothy Cole, 89, of Poynor were scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 25, at First Baptist Church of Poynor.
Burial followed in the Poynor Cemetery under direction of Autry Funeral Home in Frankston.
Mrs. Cole died Jan. 22, 2009.
She was born Feb. 21, 1919 in Friendswood.
Bill Brenneman
Funeral services for Bill Brenneman, 87, of Frankston were held Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston with the Rev. Doug Howell officiating.
Burial was held at Dallas, Fort Worth National Cemetery in Arlington on Monday, Jan. 26, 2009.
Services were under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Frankston.
Mr. Brenneman passed away on Monday, Jan. 19, 2009 in Tyler.
He was born April 29, 1921 in Leavenworth, Kan.
Mr. Brenneman was a Catholic and was a retired mail courier with Associated Air Center.
He is preceded in death by his son Michael Brenneman.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Brenneman of Olathe, Kan.; daughter, Mary Brenneman of Frankston; son, Dennis Brenneman of Olathe, Kan.; four grandchildren, Tony Brenneman, Sarah Brenneman, Jason Dill and Jackie Kyles and two great granddaughters, Madison Brenneman and Brittany Kyles.
