Cecil Nelson Anderson

Cecil Nelson Anderson, 78, of Frankston died June 18, 2007 in Tyler. Mr. Anderson was born October 10, 1928 in Galveston. No services were scheduled. Mary Helen Williams

Funeral services for Mary Helen Williams, 85, of Frankston were held Friday, June 29, at First Baptist Church in Frankston with the Rev. J.A. Griffin and Dr. Darin Wood officiating. Burial followed at the Frankston City Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams died Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at a Palestine nursing home. She was born Oct. 25, 1921 in Frankston. She was a retired office manager for Gulf States United (currently Embarq) for 20 years. She attended First Baptist Church of Frankston where she was a member of the choir for more than 50 years. She lived in Frankston all of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Harry E. Williams who died March 21, 1997.

She is survived by her daughter, Rose Lynne Boling and her husband Darrell of Frankston; son, Don Williams and wife Cheryl of Palestine; sister, Vay Dell Cook of Center; four grandchildren, Jennifer Baker of Blanchard, Okla., Christy Bernas of Palestine, Julie Thomas of Roundrock and Kimberly Boling of Frankston; five great grandchildren, Victoria Baker, Levi Baker and Elizabeth Baker all of Blanchard Okla., Randi Bernas of Palestine and Ella Thomas of Roundrock; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Raymond Nichols, Gene Dickerson, Wayne Socia, Phil Parks, Jerry Beard, Mike Dennis and Tony Herrington. The honorary pallbearer was Billy Bussey.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Frankston or the American Alzheimer Association.

Steve Stine

Funeral services for Steve Stine, 48 of Frankston will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 19 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston. Burial will follow in the Guiceland Cemetery in Grapeland, Texas.

Mr. Stine died Monday, July 16, in Henderson County.

He was born Aug. 4, 1958 in Knox, Texas. He worked as an air conditioning technician and served in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Stine was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Stein and his sister, Deloris Sowell.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Tyson Stine of Frankston; step-sons, David Tyson of Deatsville Ala. and James Tyson of Palestine; his parents, Bobby and Barbara Northcutt of

Quinlan; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Sonny Rasberry of Point; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was to be Wednesday, July 18, from 6-7 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Frankston.

Bobby ‘Frog’ Frausto

A memorial service for Bobby “Frog” Frausto, 57, of Frankston was held Tuesday, July 10, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston with the Rev. George “Tutty” Folmar officiating.

Mr. Frausto died July 6, 2007 in his home surrounded by family.

He was born Sept. 25, 1949 in Jacksonville. He was the owner of Frausto Plumbing.

His parents, Jacinto and Gertrude Frausto and his sisters Mary Fern Johnson and Gertrude Ramona Frausto, preceded Mr. Frausto in death.

Survivors include his spouse, Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Frausto of Frankston; daughters, Rachel McCallum and her husband Robert of Bergheim, Texas and Renae Frausto of Tyler; brothers, Jacinto Frausto, Jr. and his wife Constance of Jupiter, Fla., Johnny Frausto and his wife Debbie of Ben Wheeler, Mickey Frausto and his wife Lisa of Union Valley and John David James of Athens; sisters, Margeret Anderson and her husband Jimmie of Shreveport and Linda White and her husband Joe of Frankston; a sister-in-law, Vickie Greer and her husband Roy of Tyler; father-in-law, Bobby Daily of Poynor; two grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Tisdale, Tom Swisher, Tony Gill, David Green, Cal Wiggins and Billy Galt.

Ann Hunter

Funeral services for Ann Hunter, 65, of Frankston, were held Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston with Ron Thomas officiating. Burial followed at the Frankston City Cemetery.

Mrs. Hunter died July 4, 2007 in Frankston.

She was born Sept. 21, 1941 in Oak Grove, Texas. She worked as an office manager for Southwestern Bell and was a member of the Berryville Community Church.

Her son, David Looney, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Hunter is survived by her husband, Dan Hunter of Frankston; two sons, Michael Looney of Bullard and Brian Looney of Frankston; a daughter, Toni Looney of Frankston; brothers, Odel Kolaczkowski of Balch Springs, Bill Miles and Earl Miles of Quinlan, Truett Miles of Michigan and Robert Kolaczkowski of Dallas; two sisters, Alice Malone of Garland and Edna Slaughter of Odessa; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Berryhill, Jay Boles, Joe Dale Dickerson and Keith Bristow.

Memorials may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice.

Edna Rollins

Funeral services for Edna Rollins, 80, of Jacksonville were scheduled for Sunday, July 8, 2007 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Burial followed at Mixon Cemetery with Davy Carter officiating.

Mrs. Rollins died July 3, 2007 at a local nursing home.

She was born August 2, 1926 and worked as a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, J. D. Rollins and daughter, Anette Cummins.

She is survived by her son, John Reed of Florence, Ala. and her three daughters, Kay Brewster of Corsicana; Evelyn Cannon of Campbell and Mildred Calhoun of Houston; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Justin Yanez; Josh Yanez; Phillip Bishop; Juston Kendrik; Justin Berryhill and Micah Reed.

Alfred Harris Jr.

Funeral services for Alfred Harris Jr., 46, of Frankston will be held at noon, Saturday, July 28 at Faith Temple Full Gospel Pentecostal off of Hwy 155 in Frankston. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Frankston off of CR 312.

Mr. Harris died Wednesday, July 18, 2007 in Tyler after a six-year battle with cancer.

He was born Oct. 2, 1960 in Dallas. He had many trades including helping his father, Alfred Harris Sr., run a tire shop in Dallas. He also worked as a cook before moving to Frankston to help farm his family land.

Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Francis Willis Harris.

He is survived by his best friend of 12 years, Todd Stephens; his father, A.J. Harris; stepmother, Betty Harris; his son, Ryan Keith Brown; his 91 year old grandmother, Ruth Willis; three sisters, Rodessa Harris, Donna Stewart, and Mary Ann Holmes; two brothers, Dan Harris and Eric Smith; and extended family including Cecelia Harris, Justine Harris, Damen Harris, Keeghan Harris and many more.

Ruth Tave Coleman

Services for Ruth Tave Coleman, 56, of Frankston, were scheduled for Saturday at New Life Baptist Church with Dr. V.M. Robertson officiating.

Burial will be in Pine Springs Cemetery in Frankston under direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co.

Mrs. Coleman died July 15, 2007 in a Tyler nursing home.

She was born Dec. 15, 1951 in Anderson County and lived most of her life in Frankston.

She graduated from LaPoynor High School and Trinity Valley Community College.

Mrs. Coleman worked in the medical field and was a member of Pine Springs Baptist Church, where she was in the choir, on missionary board and program chairperson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Survivors include sons, James Coleman of Dallas, Paul Coleman of California, John Coleman Jr. and Reginald Coleman, both of Tyler; daughter, Arnesia Coleman Hatton of Frankston; brother, Rickey Crear of Dallas and grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Rod Love, Carlos Berry, Jamon Lewis, Everand Wortham, Calvin Hatton, William Jefferson and Alphonso Lang.

Honorary pallbearers were the John Tyler football coaches.

Ola Saxon

Graveside services for Ola Saxon, 68, of Grapeland were held Friday, July 20, at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Frankston with the Rev. J. A. Griffin officiating.

Services were under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Frankston.

Mrs. Saxon died Wednesday, July 18, 2007 in Tyler.

She was born Oct. 20, 1938 in Percilla, Texas in Houston County.

She worked as a homemaker and was a Baptist.

Her husband, Delton Wayne Saxon, her parents, Johnnie W. Wilcox and Minnie Ola Alldredge Wilcox, and brother, Tommie Lee Wilcox, preceded Mrs. Saxon in death.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Terry Wayne and Danica Saxon of Grapeland; sister, Vicky Osburn of Overton; brothers, John Wilcox of Lincoln, Ind. and Charlie Wilcox of Fort Worth; three grandsons; three granddaughters; eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Brandon Saxon, Michael Saxon and Jason Crast; nephews, Adam Batie and Robert Brown; and friend, Mark D. Fletcher.

Lola Mae Folmar

Graveside services for Lola Mae Folmar, 60, of Jacksonville, were to be held Wednesday, July 25, at Frankston City Cemetery with the Rev. Bennie Brooks and the Rev. Michael Bobbitt officiating.

Services were under direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Jacksonville.

Mrs. Folmar died Saturday, July 21, 2007 in a Jacksonville nursing home.

She was born April 22, 1947 in Jacksonville and worked as a machine operator at Builder’s Best. Mrs. Folmar was a member of Abundant Life Tabernacle.

She was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Delaine Phillips and grandson, Jared Phillips.
